How it works
How Lab Testing Works at Our Peoria Clinic
Start with a consultation
Your first visit runs about 30 to 40 minutes. We talk through your symptoms, health history, medications and goals, then choose the tests that will actually answer your questions instead of running a one-size-fits-all panel.
Get your blood drawn here
When labs will help, we draw them during your visit whenever we can, so there’s no second trip. If a test needs fasting or a certain time of day, we’ll tell you and book your draw around it.
Your sample goes to our partner lab
We send your samples to our partner lab for testing, and results come back quickly. A few specialty tests take a little longer. We’ll let you know as soon as yours are in.
Follow up with your provider
At a follow-up consultation, your provider goes through each result with you, what it means for how you’ve been feeling, and what comes next. That might be treatment, a change in your routine, a recheck in a few months, or a referral if something needs a specialist.
