What we help with
Signs of Low Testosterone and Other Concerns We Treat in Men
These usually creep in slowly, so many men chalk them up to age, work or stress. If several sound familiar, they’re worth a closer look.
The honest answer
Low Sex Drive or ED: Is It Low Testosterone?
Sometimes, but not always. Testosterone drives desire more than it drives erections. Erections depend mostly on healthy blood flow and nerves, so ED is more often linked to blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, smoking, extra weight, poor sleep, stress, alcohol or a medication.
Low testosterone and ED often show up together, which is why we check both. Low testosterone is confirmed with symptoms plus at least two early-morning blood tests, not one number on its own. Then we treat what’s actually driving it.

Comparing Your Options, and When You May Notice a Difference
Timelines are typical, not promises. Everyone responds differently, and individual results vary.
Your first visit
How Men’s Testosterone and ED Care Works at Our Peoria Clinic
Start with a consultation
Your first visit runs about 30 to 40 minutes at our Happy Valley Road clinic. We go over your symptoms, sexual health, sleep, stress, medications, heart health and whether you plan to have kids. Nothing is off-limits, and nothing is rushed.
Get your labs drawn here, in the morning
Testosterone runs highest in the morning, so we draw it early. We typically check total and free testosterone, estradiol, LH, a complete blood count, PSA, thyroid, A1c and cholesterol. Low results are confirmed with a second morning test. About our lab testing →
Go over your results and your plan
Your provider walks through each result and what it means for how you feel, then builds a plan. It may include testosterone therapy, ED medication, EMSELLA, weight and metabolic care, or a combination. You leave knowing what we’re treating and why.
Follow up and adjust
On testosterone, we recheck your levels, red blood cell count and PSA at about 6 to 12 weeks, then every 6 to 12 months, and adjust your dose as you go. If your red blood cell count runs high, we can do a therapeutic blood draw right here.
