Transforming Stress into Strength – My Journey with AZ Vitality and Wellness

After my husband finished his first week working with me at AZ Vitality and Wellness, we sat on the couch at home when he turned to me and made the following declaration. “You know, I have every kind of job a guy can have. I’ve been a trash man, worked in construction and spent years working in some of the busy police precincts that the City of Phoenix has, and I’ve never been as tired as I am after a week with you. You run hard, Melynda Fenn!”

So, as busy things can be around work and home, no one was more surprised than I that I found the time to sit down and share more thoughts and musings with you, my valued friends and family.

Recently, the topics of Semaglutide and Tirzepatide have been at the forefront of a lot of conversations at the Clinic. One of the main questions I’m asked is, “What makes your product different from others?” The long answer could fill volumes, so the long story made short: compounding pharmacy. The compounding pharmacy through which a medical provider sources medication is the key to providing patients with the best experience during their weight loss journey. We at AZ Vitality and Wellness have had the good fortune to find a compounding pharmacy that provides quality medication and meets our ever-increasing demand. So, rest assured that if you have started your journey with us, we can keep you on your weight loss path!

During a recent conversation with one of my sons, the topic of stress arose. He is finally entering the part of adulthood where real stress is becoming a part of his daily loss. At one point during our heart-to-heart, he threw his hands in the air and, with an exasperated sigh, asked the question we have all asked ourselves, “When does the stress end?!” It was after his timeless questions that I could impart what I hope is wisdom, that the answer is never.

Before his defeat could set in, I quickly added that life would always be stressful. We will always trade one stress for another. For example, you win the lottery and money worries are gone, until long lost cousin Steve and the tax man appear. Raising children, probably THE most stressful thing we do as adults is traded for the stress of watching them struggle with adult life. The best we can hope for is trading one stress for a better one.

Now, here is the thought this conversation led me to. When people walk through the Clinic doors for the first time, they are usually suffering from stress associated with their weight and their self-image. So, the process is generally as follows: they trade the stress of their weight for the stress of the cost and time associated when they begin using either Semaglutide or Tirzepatide. Now, here is where trading one stress for better stress begins to occur. As their weight decreases and overall health increases, the time and money they spend don’t feel as stressful. Things seem good, right? Well, sometimes…

With the rapid weight loss that can occur with Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, patients often see an increase in loose skin, with women these loses tends to be exceptionally prominent around the face and posterior areas. So, we now have traded the stress of cost and time, which you remember we traded for weight and health concerns, for the stress of how we look aesthetically and our self-image. Continually trading one stress for a better stress.

So, what would be a better stress to trade the last stress one for? One option would be time and effort-intensive gym sessions to tighten the trouble areas. The stress could be cost of gym membership, parking, gym bros and finding time to get there. If that sounds like you, then problem solved! But if this doesn’t sound like you, AZ Vitality and Wellness has another option, BTL!!

BTL is a company that we have partnered with that makes, in my humble opinion, some of the world’s most fantastic body transformation medical devices. Want to tighten your arms, legs, or posterior areas? The EMSCULPT NEO can provide accurate, long-term solutions.

Well, that’s all for now friends, until next time…
